Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of OfflyPDF (the "App"), a native Android application. By installing or using the App, you agree to these terms.
Use of the App
OfflyPDF is provided for personal and professional document management: viewing, scanning, merging, splitting, signing, compressing, watermarking, and encrypting PDF files on your own device. You are responsible for the content of any document you process with the App and for complying with applicable law when doing so.
Price and availability
OfflyPDF is free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads, and no paid tiers — every tool in the app is available to every user. We do not ask you to create an account, and the app does not gate features behind one.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use OfflyPDF to process documents you have no right to access, to forge or fraudulently alter records, or to apply a signature you are not authorised to apply. The App's signing, watermarking, and encryption tools are provided for legitimate document work; how you use them, and the legal weight of any document you produce, is your responsibility.
Ownership of your content
You retain full ownership of any document, image, or signature you process with OfflyPDF. Because all processing happens on-device, we have no access to and make no claim over your content.
No warranty
The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While OfflyPDF is built with care — heavy operations run on a background isolate to keep the interface responsive — we do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. Always keep a backup of important documents before performing destructive operations such as page removal or encryption.
Passwords cannot be recovered
When you protect a PDF, the password is applied on your device and is never sent to or stored by us. This is what makes the protection meaningful — and it also means that neither we nor anyone else can unlock the file if you forget it. Keep a secure record of any password you set; a lost password means a permanently inaccessible document.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OfflyPDF and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including loss of data resulting from device failure, user error, or third-party software.
Changes to the App
Features, tools, and this document may be updated over time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
